"Ghosts" 01

I just came off a large digital project and am going to get back into painting, but this comic is something I'll be doing as a side project to keep up what I learned in the pixel mines.

Originally scripted and sketched out in '07, at the close of a long relationship.

"Struggle"

A work in progress image (inked by hand, then digitally coloured) that I will be working into a painting on a biggish canvas. Right now it's a flat drawing for sure, going to try to run it through the "paint" filter with real media and messy brushes, etc.

"Azaleas"

11" x 14". ink.

I drew some of the azaleas in front of the house today while waiting for Kit to come home. The blooms are just starting to fade, but they are still beautiful.

After so much drawing from imagination, it's good to get back to drawing from observation. If you want to learn about composition, study flowers.
